About this blog and the Author
This blog was born from the desire of putting some ideas in writing, mostly for myself, but they may be useful for some other nerd metalheads out there.
I write mostly about technology, programming, Linux, AI, good practices and Software Engineering, but I’ll sometimes touch other topics such as music, travel, food, and a few other things I like. I’m not entirely sure what will become of this blog. Time will tell.
A bit about myself. I’m Victor Schroeder, born Brazilian and living in Germany since ancient times.
I learnt how to code when I was about 8 years old, thanks to my dad, a brilliant guy, who coded his way out of debt to put food on the table using stock exchange and a dial-up connection in the 80’s. He was the one who first saw my early math skills as a fit for the coding craft. He was spot on.
When I first sat in front of that IBM 5150 with two 5¼” floppy drives and a black/green phosphor screen, a world of possibilities opened in front of me. I never stopped.
Join me in this journey and let’s talk nerdy together.
